About Me:

Hello! I’m Sarah, and thanks for coming to my corner of the internet. I teach life drawing, illustration, and animation at CSULB and Azusa Pacific University. I was awarded my Masters of Fine Arts in 2023, and since then have been doing my best to be like the women of Ghibli :D. In my past life, I worked in TV animation and freelanced on the side.

Also, I’m pretty sure I have undiagnosed ADHD, which means I have a spectacular amount of interests and hobbies.

So why bother subscribing?

When I looked into creating this newsletter, I realized that it would be like getting a bunch of pen pals. That makes me quite excited, because I do miss the times when emails and letters were personal and filled with adventures, stories, and updates. Now my mailbox is just full of promotions and bills, and that makes me a bit sad. Hopefully this newsletter will be something you can look forward to.
